Besides Salti's (which I've heard is iffy and way overpriced) is there a decent breakfast buffet in Seattle? Any other city, I can find hundreds, but everwhere I search for one here comes up with nothing, Salti's, or nothing!
I want sausage, bacon, pancakes, waffles, french toast, a carving station, omelet station, etc. I would even be willing to pay too much money for it if I knew it was good. Oh, and it has to be somewhere between Northgate and the south end of Downtown, and reachable by bus... though I might be able to find someone with a car if I could convince them that it would be excellent and worth their time.
Thanks!

Re: Breakfast Buffet?
Wed, April 11, 2007 - 9:23 AMi did a quick search because you piqued my curiousity (the only buffet breakfast i've heard of is at all you can eat joints) and i found this review of von's: tinyurl.com/237x8x i've been there for lunch and it was so-so with decent rotisserie chicken, which now makes me wonder about their breakfast... they're motto is "best martini's in town" so does that include breakfast?
Everything else I found was a hotel. -

Re: Breakfast Buffet?
Wed, April 11, 2007 - 1:36 PMI don't mind if there's a buffet in a hotel as long as it is a hotel restaurant (as opposed to the "continental" breakfast bars/buffets for people staying there). If anyone can recommend a good one that would be great too. -

Thu, April 12, 2007 - 8:00 AMI looked at other reviews of Von's and it unfortunately doesn't look good - 10 of 16 reviews are very negative. Thanks for the suggestion though.
